... Mozart also added to the symphony by contrasting memorable lyric themes in very full sounding orchestral settings. To satisfy the middle-class amateur, classic composers supplied a ton of new chamber music for all imaginable combinations. The piano sonata became a very important form of chamber music, especially after being refined by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. After 1765, the string quartet began to increasingly dominate the chamber music field. Unlike the concertos of the baroque period, the classic era mainly emphasized the solo concerto. The choice of solo instrument, however, was somewhat broader then in the baroque era. There was more of a trend during the classical perio ...
... When the concert began, I immediately came to realize how very lucky we were to have these seats. In fact, they were probably the best seats we could possibly have had because close-ups of the performers were projected onto three large screens during the entire concert. The concert began with Overture to Norma, played by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. Conductor Marcello Rota then stepped down to escort Bocelli, who had been blinded at the age of six, onto the stage. Bocelli appeared to be at home onstage; without touching anything he lined himself up dead center with the microphone each time he sang. Bocelli made singing look easy; he showed no signs of tension. He stood still ...
... all outfrenzy of driving energy- (Sex Type Thing, Meatplow, Trippin on a Holein a Paper Heart), to the more subdued tracks of Creep, Pretty Penny, and Big Empty. The STP trademark sound can be best heard on Plush, and Interstate Love Song..Classic Rock and Roll for the new generation.. This band has it all- variety, talent, harmony, lyrics and a great overall concept for each album released.. It would be hard for me to say whichalbum is the "best" as each carries with it its own style andflavor. Core is STP's forray into "pop" culture carving out an immmediate presence in the "alternative" arena..Next, came Purple- although sales were not quite as impressive as their first, this alb ...
... if I saw it live, it was a great first impression. I thought that all of the characters were very well casted. I did think that even though they were all very talented singers, they could have used more facial expressions and gestures to play out their emotions to match the scenes and the music. Out of all the characters, I liked Aida the most. I thought that she carried herself very well and gave a fantastic performance. She also had great chemistry with Radames. Radames too, showed little or no change in his voice or actions to display the full range of emotions that he experienced. One of the characters that had no effect on me was Amneris. Her character did not make very ...
... In March of 1961, the Beatles began to play at the club that would later be nicknamed "The Home of the Beatles". The Cavern Club, which's premises comprised a small group of cellars below a seven story warehouse which had originally been used as an air raid shelter during the war. Later, Alan Sytner, a jazz fan decided to open it up as a new jazz club. After a few years, he sold it to Ray McFall another jazz fan. The club was originally strictly jazz and no rock. Luckily for the Beatles, the times were changing and McFall quickly changed the policy the Beatles soon became regulars. This would be the club that would make them famous. News of the band's Liverpool popularity soon beca ...
... the personal specifications of the artist. This makes the product original. Two values by which I judge music are creativity and originality. I believe that good art provides 'food for thought' - that special something which, after the tape has finished, after leaving the cinema or closing a book, leaves an 'aftertaste' - something to think about, be it, 'how did he/she play that' or, 'what was he/she trying to say with that piece,' the list goes on. Basic Market Analysis For the purposes of this essay, I want to split marketing into two general strategies. The first of these is where the designers make a "product" to their own specifications and then look to see where and how they will ...

... Ragtime was an influence that came later and is a faster blues played with the piano and someone singing which was usually played in bars called barrel houses. The first country blues that was written and published was "Memphis Blues" by W.C. Handy in the early 1900's. The first recorded blues was " Crazy Blues" by Mamie Smith in 1915. Most country blues were played with an acoustic guitar and with someone singing. It also has a definite call and response between the voice and guitar. ... Both other radio stations and the media picked up on the rumor, and it spread quickly. As the word spread, the story also got changed. Two different stories are best known for Paul's death. The first one as stated from a webpage dedicated to the conspiracy goes like this: The story that Paul McCartney was involved in a car accident. Apparently, he hadn't noticed that the lights had changed. The accident occurred at 5 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. Paul had died from head wounds.
